Summertime Fun in Austin

Gutterpy recently moved its headquarters from Ohio to Austin, Texas. We’re loving the new location and have immersed ourselves in the fun activities the area has to offer. Explore Downtown Austin by Kayak or Paddleboard

If you’re looking to explore the city in a splashy way, check out Lone Star Kayak Tours’ Austin Skyline Tour. You’ll get to learn about the architecture and history of Austin’s skyscrapers from while taking a refreshing kayak down the Colorado River. Learn About Texas’ Rich Music History

Texas Music Museum has been preserving Texas music for 34 years. Check out their current exhibitions like “Singing Cowboy and Cowgirl Legends,” “Western Swing,” and a spotlight on the musical contributions of East Austin African-Americans. Peach Picking in the Hill Country

Sweet Eats Fruit Farm is a great place to take the entire family. It’s not just about picking delicious fruits. There’s a petting zoo, hay maze, bounce area, kids obstacle course, face painting, train and more fun for all ages. Visit for more info!

Get Your Groove on at Blues on the Green

Austin is the Live Music Capital of the World, so there are ton of great outdoor musical events. One in particular is the Blues on the Green Series, put on by 93.3 KGSR. Head out to Zilker Park to enjoy a music filled evening that is family and pet friendly. Check out for lineups and dates.

Get Healthy and Fresh Food at Austin’s Numerous Farmers’ Markets

There are a ton of amazing farmers’ markets here in Austin. One organization that is doing amazing work in cultivating a healthy community is the Sustainable Food Center.
